Sickness has stricken

Well three weeks ago our lives have changed. Both my wife and I were diagnosed with COVID. We had to limp back home to be close to family. We started to get sick early in Aug and had to drive very slowly home. What should have taken 2 days to 4. Once on town we confirmed our suspicions with a test. Positive. So, we put ourselves up is the hotel to avoid getting family sick. I began to show signs of improvement in a few days; however, my wife was not so fortunate. Early Sunday she was showing signs of worsening case. She had not slept in more than 24 hours and headaches, blue lips, and fingers. She also complained of leg cramps. So, I called 911. When they arrived and took her vitals, her O2 was only at 40%. They immediately rushed her to the ER. Of course, I was unable to go having been tested positive for COVID. Fast forward 11 days. She has been in a medically induced coma, had a few seizures and slight temp with and infection. As of today, she is showing signs of improvement. We did decide to remove the breathing tube and have the Dr preform a tracheostomy. Both of us had decided to not receive the shots. Me for diabetes reasons and her she felt there was not enough info on the shots.  She is a fighter and is showing significant signs of improvement.  Stay tuned for more updates.
